Runner Shirts
In an effort to keep our race green and reduce waste, we have created registrations to allow registrants to opt out of receiving a finisher's race shirt. Cut off date to register for a race with a finisher race shirt included is July 8, 2025. Any leftover race shirts can be purchased after the race at the finish line area for $15 (we do not order extras, so only unclaimed shirts will be available for purchase; not all sizes are guaranteed to be available). All race shirts not picked up on race day become property of Urban Wildland Half Marathon and 5K.
Personal Belongings: Lockers
Lockers are available for use inside the arena. The lockers are not supervised, but runners may bring their own padlock.
Support the Next Generation of Runners
The UW Half + 5K supports the next generation of youth runners!
UW mission is to reduce financial barriers to entry and make run-racing more accessible to youth and underrepresented and under-served communities in Richfield and the greater metro area of Minnesota. UW will provide complimentary entries to both in-person and virtual 5K options for youth, (no questions asked!) through the generosity of contributions to the UW fund. Use the code uwyouth5k for a complimentary registration for youth runners (18 and under).
By reaching our annual goal of $5000, we are able to provide over 100 scholarships for youth runners 18 years and younger to run the 5K in person or virtual race for free! If you would like to help us meet our goal with the purpose of cultivating a healthy life style and to get youth moving in the outdoors follow this link to our donation portal.
