VCF 2026 Summer Training Team

Virginia Capital Fitness, LLC, Lucky Road, and J&A Racing are excited to offer runners in Richmond and the surrounding areas the opportunity to train for 13.1 & 26.2 fall races, commencing on June 6th. 2026. Detailed training plans will be offered for all paces for the following fall races:

Please note that VCF will have a sign-up for runners who are not training for a race but enjoy running with family and friends, called Early Sunrise Runners.

J&A Racing - Crawling Crab 13.1, October 3-4;  Erie - 26.2 & 13.1 September 13th,  Marine Corps - 26.2 & 13.1 October 25th;

J&A Racing - Wicked 10K October 30-31;  Richmond 26.2 & 13.1 - November 14th; and J&A Racing Norfolk Harbor 13.1 - November 21-22

• All participants will receive an awesome VCF technical training shirt, special offers from Lucky Road and J&A Racing, and other fun surprises, and benefits with additional sponsors.
• For running mothers looking for training that starts early on Saturday morning, VCF’s start time will be very early.
• For running dads and moms who need to get home for youth sports, VCF’s start time will work for you. 
• On extremely hot running days, VCF will start as early as 4:30 am to beat the hot sun.
• Invite your running friends now and make Saturdays with VCF your new training tradition! Sign up together and experience a motivating and fun summer of running.

As with all races and training teams, VCF reserves the right to cancel this training event (with a refund) if sign-ups do not reach 130 registered runners.
