About Veterans Day 5K, 10K & 15K
Help celebrate Veterans Day with a 5K, 10K or 15K event honoring those who have served our country. Both events will be held at English Landing Park in Parkville and participants will receive a custom finishers medal and top finishers will compete for age group and overall awards. Registrants can add a race shirt for an additional fee.
This race is being run in honor of long time area runner, World War II veteran, and VFW employee, Ed Burnham, and a portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the VFW Foundation in his honor. The VFW Foundation supports troops abroad, military families back in the U.S. and America’s often-forgotten veterans. Learn more about this organization HERE.

Awards
Awards will be given to the Top Overall Male Finisher, the Top Overall Female Finisher, the Fastest Masters Male Finisher and the Fastest Masters Female Finisher in both the 5K and the 10K, together with the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 and over.

Fees are non-refundable
The registration fees are not refundable for any reason. If you are not able to join us you can pick up your packet at packet pickup, but they will not be sent to you, unless you registered as a virtual participant from the beginning.
Finishers Medal
Finishers in the 5K and 10K and virtual participants will receive a cool custom finishers medal! Don’t miss out!
Packet Pick Up
Packet pickup will be on Friday, November 7 from 2-6pm at The Running Well Store on Barry Road in the Northland. You can also pick up for a friend or family member. You can also pickup up on race morning at the race site beginning at 7:15am. If you can’t make it to the event, you can contact KC Running Company to see how you can get your shirt, if you purchased one, and medal and what the costs are. If you don't pick up your packet at packet pickup or at the race, we are not able to guarantee that your shirt size will be available after the race.
