RACE DATE CHANGE:


The Viking Dash Greensboro race has been moved from Saturday, January 31st to Saturday, February 28th due to inclement weather.

This move is being made as a result of the expected snow, freezing rain, coupled with arctic temperatures forecasted for the week of Jan 25-30th.

While we understand this is a Viking Dash, we want to ensure the safety of our athletes traveling to and from the race, along with during the race.

Those who have braved the mighty Viking Dash in years past know this truth well: our finisher medals are forged among the finest treasures in all the racing realm.

Many of you already wield the legendary Thor’s Hammer, bear the fearsome Viking Battle Axe, or proudly carry the unyielding Viking Shield—some heroic souls even possess the full armory.

But in 2026, a new prize awaits the bold. Across all Viking Dash races, we will be awarding the awe-inspiring Viking Longship Medal—a 5" masterpiece worthy of any warrior’s collection, complete with a beautifully crafted lanyard fit for a chieftain.
