Proceeds and donations from this race benefit the Vineland Police Athletic League (PAL). With the mission of fostering good relations between the city's youth and police force, the PAL offers various recreation programs including basketball, karate, and more. In 2026, the PAL partnered with the Vineland Youth Running Club to add a winter strength and conditioning program, and a number of PAL and VYRC members will be running in their first race at this years Breakfast Chase.
