Vintage Park Half Marathon

Presented by St Luke's Health - The Vintage Hospital

Join us for Year 9 of this fast and scenic half marathon course with the best post-race food and fun anywhere .  If you're not quite ready to tackle the half, we have 2-person relay teams and a 5k, as well as a 1k Kids race for the little ones.  Can't make it out, but want all the swag mailed to you?  There is a virtual option!

All participants will get a custom race shirt, bib, finisher medal and more....along with tacos from Chuy's and cool awards, as always! 

We will have a selfie booth on site, and shortly after the race you will have FREE downloadable course photos from the best race photographers on the planet!

Your flat, fast and scenic course starts and finishes at St. Luke's - The Vintage Hospital.  All runners will run through beautiful Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve and the tree-lined Vintage Preserve Parkway.

All runners first run the 5K course - a counter-clockwise loop starting with a run to the north, finishing in the Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve then exiting into the start line.

After reaching the hospital, 5K finishers turn to the right to finish and Half Marathon runners continue straight, running almost 2 of the counterclockwise loop below.   Instead of entering the Preserve a 3rd time, turn left into the Hospital for the finish.

Relay runners exchange in the median on the west side of the course, with the first leg being approximately 10.8K, and the 2nd 10.3K.

Parking is on site at St. Luke's Hospital - HOWEVER as the course crosses right in front of the hospital, if leaving early you may be delayed or asked to detour.  We recommend if you are:

1) Leaving 10am or later:  Enter St. Luke's off of Chasewood Park at the middle entrance as shown below:  route to this exact point.  

2) Leaving 10am or earlier:  Enter the Chuy's parking lot from the 249 feeder road. Park in the Chuy's plaza across the street from the hospital.   Route to this exact point. Exit the same way you came in.

All runners will get a custom race shirt and bib at packet pickup, and a finisher medal upon completing their run.

Additional Swag TBD

The Relay Exchange point is located at 14330 Vintage Preserve Parkway.  There is a new business there called Premier Vision, where you may park, and the exchange is right across the street, as runners will be in the median lane and vehicles in the curb lane.  There will be an aid station there as well.  It is about 100 yards west of Chasewood Park Drive, and about a 1/4 mile from the race site, so it's very easy for your 2nd Runner to be with you at the start and just head over there after.

More information will be sent out race week to all registered relay runners.

Virtual runs may be completed between April 5th and April 19th. 

Information on how to submit your results will be given upon registration.

All race swag will be mailed out within 3 weeks from the end of the submission period, often sooner.
