About Winter SOLEstice 5K Run/Walk
Sole Sisters Running Club's 9th Annual Winter SOLEstice 5K will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 10am!
Run or walk our USATF certified 5K course! Walkers and strollers are welcome. We ask that those walking with little ones start behind our runners and walkers. Check back as we get closer for race swag details!
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 finishers (male, female, and non-binary) as well as top female and male age winners (12 and under / 13-18 / 19-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60-69 / 70 and over).
Pricing:

- 🌅 EARLY BIRD: $35 through September 12, 2026

- ❄️ RACE DAY: $45 on Race Day

Course Info
The Winter SOLEstice 5K is a USATF certified course. The start and finish will be in front of the Wilmington High School. Free race photos will be available and posted on the runsignup page after the race. Click the PDF attachment below to view the course map.
Post Race
Post race eats & refreshments will be available immediately following the race. Check back as we get closer to race day to find out what will be on the menu!
Cash prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 overall female and male finishers. Age group winners will be recognized for the following divisions: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Medals will be awarded to all our youth runners (18 and younger)!
