Log 20 Minutes of Outdoor Activity Every Day in January

The 2026 Winter Warriors Challenge Presented by ASICS and Fleet Feet motivates you to get moving outside in January’s cold weather. Log at least 20 minutes of activity per day in January, and get rewarded with weekly ASICS shoe drawings and lots more. All activities must be on foot, running or walking.

You must log at least 20 minutes of outdoor activity each day throughout the month of January. These activities must be on foot (i.e. walking or running).

Important Notes:

• Logging miles is based on honor code. We are not monitoring your activities, and you do not have to upload them online if you do not want to.

• Additionally, please also note that this is not a challenge against others, but rather against January’s bitter cold! You will not be rewarded for logging extra mileage or completing the most activities.

New this year, there is a paid division, in addition to a free division. Here’s what you get with each:

Paid:

• A custom-designed ASICS Winter Warriors Shirt

• A pair of ASICS socks

• A $25 credit toward ASICS shoes at Fleet Feet Nebraska stores

• Entries into the weekly ASICS free shoe raffle

• Access to the Winter Warriors Strava group

Free:

If you live in Omaha or Lincoln, we host weekly in-person group meetups to help you stay committed to the challenge. All of these events are entirely free and open to those of all paces:

Lincoln:

• Mondays at 6pm: Walk Into the Week at Fleet Feet Lincoln

• Tuesdays at 6pm: Evening Social Run at Fleet Feet Lincoln

• Wednesdays at 6:30pm: Telegraph Run Club at The Mill @ Telegraph

• Thursdays at 5:30am: Coffee Run at Bagels & Joe

• Saturdays at 7am: Morning Miles (locations change week-to-week)

Omaha:

• Tuesdays at 6pm: Kinkaider Run Club at Kinkaider Brewing in Aksarben

To track your mileage during the challenge, we recommend using Strava.

We’ve created a Strava group in which you can post your activities to all other participants. In the feed, we encourage you to share your activities, pictures from your runs/walks, and any other pieces of encouragement for your fellow Warriors.

Please note that the Strava group is completely optional, and you do not have to download Strava to participate in the Winter Warriors Challenge.

Those who sign up for the paid division will gain a $25 credit toward a pair of ASICS shoes at any Fleet Feet Nebraska store through the month of January 2026. Simply show proof of your registration to an outfitter, and we will redeem your coupon.

Note that you cannot use any additional rewards, offers, or coupons on the same transaction as this $25 credit.

The challenge will begin on January 1, 2026, at midnight and end on January 31, 2026, at 11:59pm.
