Women for Tomorrow 5k

Roll out of bed and RUN! Join us for the 1st Annual Pajama Jog 5K — a fun, cozy run for a great cause!

We’re excited to host the inaugural Women for Tomorrow 5K, a community-centered event supporting local youth sports, arts, and enrichment activities. Your participation and support will help fund programs that inspire, engage, and empower the next generation.

This event will take place Sunday September 14th at Case Eagle Park at 304 S Rochester St, Burlington, WI. Event will kick off at 10am.

All runners will receive a race shirt, while supplies last*.

Know a girls, boys, or co-ed group that could benefit from this event?

Gather your friends and family and form a running team! The team with the most registered participants will win a donation to the youth organization of their choice.

Lace up, sign up, and run for a great cause! Whether you're a runner, walker, or pajama enthusiast — all are welcome!

AWARDS

Awards will be given to the top three teams, overall male, overall female finishers, and to the top three male/ female finishers in the age groups listed below. The top three overall finishers will be removed from the age group results. 

AGE GROUPS

6-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-64, 65 and older. 

*If you register after August 15, 2025, you are not guaranteed a shirt.

Packet pick up is September 14th at Case Eagle Park starting at 8am up until time of race.

Women for Tomorrow is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to positively serve and impact our communities. We are a collective force that fosters community outreach, volunteering, and philanthropy to make tomorrow better than today.

Since our first meeting in January 2024, we have rolled up our sleeves and gotten to work. We have partnered with local organizations like Love Inc. to prepare and serve meals and the Burlington Transitional Living Center to prepare Easter baskets for moms who are living there to give to their children. We've collected much-needed art supplies for local classrooms. Collected clothing, personal care items, and pantry staples to groups like BASD Foundation’s Stock the Closet initiative, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Life Choices, and TLC.  We are incredibly proud of our pledge to support the Burlington Public Library's expansion. We recently made a donation to Burlington and Waterford Union High school to help students with negative lunch balances. 

But we didn’t stop there. Women for Tomorrow held our 2nd annual Adult Prom to establish a scholarship fund benefitting local young women pursuing post-secondary education. In April, we gifted $6,000 to young women at Burlington, Catholic Central, and Waterford Union High School. 

Our mission remains steadfast: to gather together, listen to the needs of the community, and make a plan to help.
