**When and where do I pick up my race bib and timing chip?

**Can someone else pick up my race packet for me?

Yes, each participant is allowed to pick up two additional race packets for friends or family. Please provide the following, if possible:

Registration confirmation print out
COPY of valid photo ID for the person whose packet the other is picking up

**When do I get my Beer/VIP Wristband?**

You can pick them up at Packet Pickup- you will need your photo ID or you can pick them up on race day with a photo ID

Race Information

- Participants in the Half Marathon must complete the course in 4 hours or less.

- Walkers are welcome in all events. Please position yourself appropriately at the start line to help with pace.

- Strollers permitted however it MUST be a jogging stroller. This is for each runner’s safety and to help with pace. Please position yourself appropriately at the start line to limit hazard during the start.

- Are Furry Running Partners allowed to participate? Yes dogs may take part in the race with their human runner.  However, those running with dogs will have a 5 minute delayed start.

The following stipulations are in place per City of Tybee regulations and DPH for dogs, excluding service animals:

**Dogs must be on and remain on a leash
**Dogs are not allowed on the beach at any time (so the 2.8 mile beach run is not possible)
**Dogs are not allowed in the race tent

 Additionally we ask:

**Please pick up after your animal on the course
**Please be mindful of race length, we do not recommend the 10K or ½ Marathon distance.

Tybee Island enforces parking from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

Weather

The race will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, the race will either have a delayed start (maximum 30-minute delay) or, depending on the intensity of the weather, be cancelled. The determination will be made by the Event Management staff and local law enforcement to determine the proper action. Legally, the race cannot take place while lightning is in the area for liability reasons.

Friday: The Taste

Kid's Run and 5K 

Friday is the taste! The Kid's Run will start at 5:30 p.m. and the Chamacos Tacos & Surf 5K at 6:00 p.m.. There promises to be fun for the whole family! After the race, grab your finisher medal and enjoy food, snacks and beverages from our amazing sponsors. Awards will take place in the main tent following the 5K.

Friday: The VIP Experience Preview!

Brought to you by Savannah Magazine 5:30pm-7:30pm

Treat yourself to the ultimate VIP experience at the 2027 YMCA Critz Tybee Run! Hosted by our friends at Savannah Magazine, the Saturday VIP Experience now includes a preview Friday night!  Enjoy a private lounge, assorted beers, water and Coke products. You'll be able to pick up your souvenir cup along with grab and go snacks to take back to your home away from home for the weekend.
