The 10th Annual YMCA of the Suncoast Youth Triathlon, a USA Triathlon sanctioned event, will be held at their Citrus County location in Lecanto, FL, where children ages 5-15 can participate in a Swim, Bike, Run race in their age group divisions. There is the Junior Division (Born 2016-2021) and the Senior Division (Born 2011-2015). There are 2 distances (Junior & Senior) based on age. The race starts and finishes at the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA on CR 486. All finishers receive a custom finishers medal and race t-shirt. Trophies are awarded to the top 3 males and females in each age group, 5 through 15 Years old.
BACK THIS YEAR...Tri4Fun Division!! This division is open to any aged youth, adult or family. If you just want to TRI a triathlon then enter the non-competitive Tri4Fun division where adults and children can go together. Tri4Fun Division participants will do the shorter Junior Course and will receive a finisher's medal. Tri4Fun division does NOT get timed and no awards are given for this category.

3:30 - 5:30 pm Athlete/Parent Course Walking Clinics
Sunday, October 18, 2026:
7:00AM - Senior Parking Access & Check-in Opens
7:45 AM - Senior Pre-Race Meeting (Mandatory)
8:00 AM - Senior Starts (Born 2011-2015)
9:00 AM - Senior Awards Ceremony

9:45 AM - Junior Pre-Race Meeting (Mandatory)
10:00 AM - Junior Division Starts (2016-2021)
10:30 AM - Tri4Fun Starts immediately after the Junior Division
11:30 AM - Awards Ceremony (time is approximate)
DISTANCES:
Senior Groups: 200 yard swim, 3 mile bike ride, 1 mile run
Junior Groups: 100 yard swim, 1.5 mile bike ride, 1/2 mile run
NOTE: Athletes are required to bring a swimsuit, running shoes, bicycle and
helmet to participate. All participants will receive an event T-shirt, swim cap, goodie
bag and participation medal.
