YMCA/HARDING BROOKS CORPORATE CHALLENGE

The Corporate Challenge is back for a fourth year live and in-person. For those of you that have participated before will know why we’re so excited and for those new to the event, don’t miss out on the fun, you’ll regret it!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

immediate family members of all ages are eligible to register and participate!

The registration dates are as follows:

Early Bird Registration (includes event shirt): 

Opens: 04/09/2026

Ends: 05/03/2026

$25 for the first event ($15 for each additional event - we will invoice Team Captains an accurate registration cost when registration closes)

Regular Registration (includes event shirt if submitted by 4:00PM on 5/28): 

Opens: 05/14/2026

Ends: 05/28/2026

$30 for the first event ($20 for each additional event - we will invoice Team Captains an accurate registration cost when registration closes)

Late Registration (Can not guarantee event shirt for event day):

Opens: 05/29/2026

Ends: 6/08/2026

$35 for the first event ($25 for each additional event - we will invoice Team Captains an accurate registration cost when registration closes)

Note: All fees listed above are before processing fees.

1. A CORPORATION (COMPANY) - is defined as a profit or non-profit business or service including State and Municipal organizations. In all cases, at the time of the run, the participant must be a part-time or full-time employee of the business/corporation.

2. Each team must allocate a TEAM CAPTAIN. This person will be responsible for the completion and accuracy of the team entry form and will be the point of contact for that team. Any team changes must be made by the captain no later than 5pm on Monday, June 9th 2025. Please note and share with your team that no dogs are permitted on the SUNY Broome Campus.

3. Race packets will be available for pick-up at the race site on race day starting at 3pm. Included will be a race guide and Corporate Challenge T-shirts for your team.

4. CORPORATE DIVISIONS:

Small 1-99 employees

Medium 100-599 employees

Large 600+ employees

5. SCORING & TROPHIES: Points will be awarded to the top 15 finishers in each of the 3 company divisions. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each Corporate and individual category.

6. TEAM SPIRIT AWARD! This award will go to the team that demonstrates the true meaning of team spirit: supporting their team, respecting others, encouraging their teammates while having a great time! So go all out with decorations, team shirts and have a great time! A team of volunteers will decide the winner.

4:30-5:15PM

Registration for team captains who didn't pick up race packets.

5:15-6:00pm 

5K Road Race: 3.1 mile race around campus. No walkers please due to scheduling issues.

6:00-7:30pm 

Predicted Mile: (2 Heats)

This event is for everyone! Participants will pre-register the time they predict it will take to cover the 1 mile course. Participants can walk or run. Winners will be those closest to their predicted time. (No timing devices can be worn during this events, this includes music players).

7:30-8:15pm

Relay Race:

3 team members will each cover the 1 mile course. 1 team member must be female, 1 over 40 years old and 1 ‘open’. The female and over 40 can be the same
person.

8:15-8:30pm

Executive Mile:

A 1 mile road race open to senior staff members (only 2 participants per company will score).
