Youghtoberfest 5K

Be part of one of the signature events of Youghtoberfest Weekend with the Youghtoberfest 5K, a scenic point-to-point race through Connellsville. Point-to-point races are a rarity in our area, offering runners and walkers a unique course from start to finish instead of the traditional out-and-back or loop format.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, enjoying the morning with friends, or simply supporting a great cause, this event is for you. The race is open to both runners and walkers, with awards presented to the top three overall men and women in both the running and walking divisions.

Registration is just $25, and every entry helps make a difference. All proceeds from the race will benefit Type 1 diabetes awareness and research, supporting organizations working to improve the lives of those affected by T1D.

To make race morning easy, all participants will park at Yough River Brewing, where race-day registration and packet pickup begin at 7:30 a.m. Complimentary shuttle service will transport participants to the starting line, with the first shuttle departing at 8:00 a.m. 

Additional shuttle trips will run as needed before the race, allowing everyone to enjoy a hassle-free point-to-point experience.

After crossing the finish line, stick around and enjoy everything Youghtoberfest Weekend has to offer at Yough River Brewing, including great craft beer, food, live entertainment, and a fun community atmosphere.
