About Zionsville Sprint Triathlon
Zionsville Rotary Club is excited to host the Zionsville Sprint Triathlon. This is a perfect event to end your season with, or to give a triathlon a go for the first time. The race will be held at Azionaqua Swim Club, just 16 miles Northwest of Indianapolis. We've partnered with RaceMaker Productions, so you know this will be a top notch event.
Each participant will get a T Shirt as well as a finisher medal.
Awards
Zionsville triathlon provides awards for the following positions:
Top Male and Female finishers in the following age groups will be recognized:
15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
Please note you must be 15 by Dec 31, 2025 to participate.
Course
Swim: 200 Meters
The pool swim features 4 serpentine lengths in a 50 meter pool.
Bike
The 12 mile bike ride will take place through Zionsville & rural Boone County with a few rolling hills. The course will be marked with H stake signs on each turn. We will also have volunteers and officers (high traffic intersections). Please note the course is OPEN TO TRAFFIC. This means you need to stay alert at all times, and "always look both ways before you cross the street." Although we do the best we can to slow cars down, alert motorists of the event, and keep you safe...your safety is ultimately in your hands.

Run
The 3 mile run will be a run through Turkeyfoot Park and along Eagle Creek toward Holiday Farms. It is out 1.5 and then straight back. We will have water at the 1.5 mile mark/turn around. To view the route click the map below or link here: https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2016241
Packet Pick Up
Saturday 8/29/26:
Early packet pick up is available in Zionsville on Saturday (8/29) from 10AM-2PM at Zionsville Public House (10615 Zionsville Rd; Zionsville, Indiana 46077.)
We encourage as many people as possible to pick up the day before to minimize prep time the morning of the race to insure an on-time start. Remember you need to bring a photo ID with you to pick up your race packet per USA Triathlon rules.
Sunday 8/30/26:
Race day packet pick up is on site from 6:45-7:40 AM. Participants MUST have ID to pick up packets.
Parking
There is plenty of parking available in the field north of Azionaqua.
