Give 'N Gobble 5K

The Give 'N Gobble 5K Thanksgiving Day Race is a fun-filled annual holiday tradition for Dickson County and many families in Middle Tennessee!

As one of Middle Tennessee’s largest Thanksgiving Day races, the Give 'N Gobble's 5K Race and One Mile Walk/Run starts at with great fanfare on Historic Main Street in Downtown Dickson and finishes at Holland Park, next to the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum.

For many, the Give 'N Gobble is a fun, family-centered tradition, however the race does attract many professional runners from all over Tennessee and the United States. The Give 'N Gobble’s challenging 5K course is officially certified by USA Track and Field, and both the 5K and One Mile races are RFID (chip) timed.

Since the first race in 2014, the Give ‘N Gobble has raised over $534,000 in the spirit of Thanksgiving for the Dickson County Help Center. The Dickson County Help Center provides aid in the form of food, clothing, prescribed medication, temporary shelter and limited financial assistance to the citizens of Dickson County on an emergency basis with love and dignity.

Join us on Thanksgiving Morning for a great run that “Gives” to a great cause before you “Gobble!”

The Give ’N Gobble 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk begins on North Main Street beside the Dickson County Help Center and finishes on Center Avenue next to Holland Park. The route takes participants through downtown Dickson, creating a festive and family-friendly atmosphere for walkers and runners of all ages.

Please note that the 1-mile course is an approximate distance and will not reflect the exact measurement of the route. Mileage tracking apps may also vary from the actual course.

The Give ’N Gobble 5K route begins on North Main Street, right beside the Dickson County Help Center, and ends on Center Avenue next to Holland Park. Runners will experience a scenic and challenging course that winds through the McCreary Heights neighborhood and continues into the West Dickson neighborhood before looping back into downtown.

This route has been professionally measured and is USATF certified, ensuring that every step meets the exact standard of a 5K distance. Please note that app-based mileage trackers may not reflect the certified measurements. For the most accurate course details, participants are encouraged to contact the race director directly.
