HOW DOES A VIRTUAL RUN/WALK WORK:

• Sign Up/Register for the virtual race.

• Walk/run in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, outside with friends, cycle, or dance, as long as you complete your 3.1 miles between the dates of 9/11/2026 - 10/10/2026.

• Track your time on whatever device you prefer.

• Come back to this website and enter your results under the "Submit your time" tab.

• Share plenty of pictures in our Steps4Survivors5K Facebook group.

EVENT PURPOSE:

Celebrate with us as we embark upon10 years of dedicated service to burn survivors! Our 5K is not just a race; it's a chance to support those who need it most. We aim to raise $15,000 to assist burn survivors with everything from medical care to camp experiences. Lace up your shoes, walk with your friends and family, and let's make this milestone memorable!

Raise $250.00 and we'll refund you $30. :)

• Fundraising Team with most active participants: Active team member names will be entered in drawing for $50 in Visa gift cards. 

• Best Team/Group Selfie displaying the most team spirit: Picture posted on Scars Uncovered website. Team names entered in drawing for $5O in Visa gift cards.
